Jakarta Dept. of Manpower and Transmigration will investigate the accident scene of Ciliwung river normalization at RT 10/12, Bukit Duri Urban Village, Tebet, South Jakarta. Sealing will be applied if violation is found.

Head Section of Safety and Health Monitoring for the agency, Khadir Triyanto, said the safety must be based on the existing standard operational procedure (SOP).

“We’ll seal the site if violation is found,” he said, Monday (10/17).

He added that his side will investigate the SOP applied by PT Adhi Karya as the project implementer.

Previously, agency’s K3 supervisory team did not find the operator or workers at the site. Moreover, PT Adhi Karya office, which renting house at Jalan Tanjakan Bukit Duri RT 06/08 Bukit Duri, was empty, except the security officer.
